Evoke is licensed as a money lender by the Isle of Man Office of Fair Trading under the Money Lenders Act (1991) and registered with the Isle of Man Financial Services Authority under the Designated Business Act (2015).
We will work with you to answer any questions that you may have to help you to determine whether a bridging product is right for you.
We are not licenced financial advisors and we encourage borrowers to obtain independent legal and/or financial advice before entering into any financial contract. Our focus is to maintain a sensible and ethical lending product to help theresidential sector in the Isle of Man.
Our customers to date have ranged from small, local property developers to young families.
We believe in ensuring a long-term solution for our borrowers, those who aren’t repaying by means of selling property we work with to ensure a conventional mortgage can be obtained within a maximum of 24 months of taking their bridging loan.
We charge the borrower an arrangement fee for facilitating their loan and take a trail income on the interest earnedthroughout the year.
Loans are assessed on an individual basis and the rate is determined by the overall risk profile of the borrower and theloan to value.
Typical rates are from 7% per annum.
