About
Evoke’s banking heritage was started by our Grandfather, Les Mitchell, seen here in a picture at his desk at Isle of Man Bank Castletown, c.1975.
Les was the ‘accountant in charge’ at Isle of Man Bank in Port Erin from 1969 until 1972. He was subsequently accountant in charge and then regional Manager for Isle of Man Bank, looking after the South of the island, based in Castletown branch. Here he stayed from 1972 until he retired in 1993. Les took enormous pride in his ability to help his personal and business customers.
Fast forward 50 years and Zoe and Aaron feel honoured to be in a position, as was their Grandfather, to help individuals and businesses achieve their goals and dreams by providing access to finance. Whether this be individuals buying a home, developers undertaking a project, or businesses flourishing, nothing pleases us more than being able to help.

Evoke started in December 2014 with an aim of providing a financial solution to customers who were struggling to obtain bank loans and mortgages.
Local individual lenders who provide the funds are matched with local borrowers.
The contracts are generally for twelve months and repaid from either the sale of property or a re-mortgage to a bank when a history of repayments has been evidenced.
To date Evoke have approved over £147,000,000 of mortgages to local individuals and businesses.
